"On average for all degree courses, those who graduate from university earn on average £160,000 more over their lifetime. This would still seem to indicate that going to university is good value for money. But the net benefit is probably less than people would think."
Do you agree. Do I agree? Do we agree? Question? Who can afford it? So earning and average of £160000 and incurring a debt of £15000-30000 depending on cost. Worth I guess if it is guaranteed to earn more than £30000 a year average over a life time. At moment, too many questions, with no answers.
This brings me back to how are Colleges and Universities currently funded. How do these roles change. For better or worse. How does this improve quality of lessons. How does this impact Tutors? Pay rise. Or performance based. How will it impact Students? How will this impact Parents? How will this impact Universities. Will it create a two or three tier learning systems. Will it be like the American System? How will advertising impact us. Commercial adverts in classroom. Advertising on college websites, students emails, toilets, cafes. Parking fees? Sponsorship? Imagine Apple sponsoring courses. Will this be bias the degrees?
Students, will they afford to go study further from home? Or will they study from home?
